The garment is sculpted and draped by hand to create the movement and structure of a 3d carrier bag which is also used as a functional pocket. Promoting slow fashion this dress should be cherished for longevity and not to add to harmful disposable waste of landfill.

The sustainable #pillowdress available online, is made from 100% organic fabric, a thought provoking garment made to make people stop and question the importance of sustainability in clothes and the story connected to them. All unique clothes made by luxury womenswear brand Cunnington & Sanderson are impeccably made in Britain. Proudly working closely with local mills is hugely important to the brand. In this collection the use of lightweight plaid fabric is used throughout. Consisting of a linen wool mix made by Abraham Moon & Sons, one of the last remaining vertical woollen Mills in Great Britain. Providing luxurious fabrics with eco friendly detergents, zero bleach to enhance the colours & 100% traceability as the whole manufacturing process takes place in-house in one location. The use of wool also promotes a long life span of the garment keeping entwined the heritage and quality that provides soul & history to the garments.
